About Me
Patrick Walch born 10. Feb. 1983
Before I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communications Management in 2007 I did an internship at a small record label for Movie Scores in Stuttgart, Germany.
Right after that I started my career leading the digital department at Nuclear Blast , the biggest independent record label specialized in metal, pretty much right from the first day on. Additionally to building up the Digital Business section for the company I did the same for the departments Online Marketing and Online Promotion and kept optimizing structures and workflows both within my team of several members and also strengthened connections with other departments across the globe, helping to get the behemoth among metal labels on the level where it is standing today with offices in Germany, Los Angeles, London, São Paulo and sub-labels like Arising Empire and Sharptone Records.
Always pushing innovations and focusing on business development, my team and myself were spearheading task forces leading to Nuclear Blast publishing the first metal mobile app and being the only metal label launching a social gaming experience in the form of a label-branded online Poker game for metal fans.
Among many others i’ve had the pleasure to work with amazing artists like Slayer, Sabaton, Nightwish, In Flames, Accept, Machine Head, Within Temptation, Epica, Blind Guardian, Dimmu Borgir, Meshuggah, Thy Art Is Murder, We Came As Romans, Helloween, Kreator, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Immortal, Miss May I and Opeth.
Strong bonds and friendships with digital service providers, distribution partners, co-workers and bosses led to excellent success in all realms of online business.
After twelve years I decided to part ways with Nuclear Blast and launch my own business, working directly with artists, being more flexible and able to invest more time into dedicated release campaigns. I’m now offering services in Digital Marketing & Online Promotion as an agency and also by signing and pushing bands for my metal label Noble Demon. I'm also curating the TV program for Metal Rocks.
